New Picture Book Cover Sneak Peek: "Pirate Nap"

My new picture book Pirate Nap: A Book of Colors will be out in September 2011 but I'm giving you a sneak peek at the cover and jacket flap text here:

From a white bandana to yellow coins to a red blanket, two boys use their imaginations to turn everyday household objects into colorful pirate treasure as they prepare for nap time. Even the youngest readers and listeners will want to chime in as they get ready to sail off to sleep! 

Illustrator Valeria Petrone did a fabulous job with her colorful, lively illustrations making this book a perfect companion to Two at the Zoo: A Counting Book (notice it's the same little boy).
