In Picture Books We Trust: New York Times Scroll

The New York Times recently printed an article marginalizing picture books saying, "Picture Books No Longer a Staple for Children."  This article disturbed many but one local California school did something about it. In protest, they wrote a letter (a scroll really) over three hundred students, parents and teachers signed it then sent it off to the New York Times to declare their love of picture books.To read the article the New York Times printed about the scroll they received from this passionate school click here.
